About

My name is Pete Mades.  I grew up in Plymouth, and would consider myself to be a Big-City kinda guy.  Which is funny, because I am still scared of the city...Anyway, I grew up attending church and listening to KTIS.  I went to public schools and was very involved with my youth group in High School.  During a summer mission trip to Mexico, I felt God calling me into full time ministry working with kids.  I decided to pursue a ministry degree through Northwestern College in Roseville.  After my freshman year, I was introduced to camp through Tony Rojas, and I have never looked back! I worked on summer staff for three years (2004, 2005, 2006), was a speaker (2007), and was asked to serve as the Program Director on an interim basis in 2008.

I was married on June 30, 2007 to the love of my life, Becca.  And we have been enjoying life together!  She is my biggest fan, and biggest critic!  She is absolutely gorgeous and I am still excited to go home to her every night!  I enrolled at Bethel Seminary in the fall of 2007, and I enjoy taking classes.  Since I am working full time, my schooling has had to take a back seat!  I am planning on graduating in the Spring of 2016!  Slow and steady wins the race right?

I have seen God do miraculous things in my life.  He has been a redeemer, restorer, shelter, provider, trail guide, and a coffee date!  God is number one in my life, closely followed by Becca!  If you have any questions you want to ask to know more, I am an open book!  Ask away!
